Title: hello
Post by: MsDuong on September 15, 2002, 04:00:00 AM
Hi, I need some insight if anyone can help, please.

OK, she brought him over on a fiance' visa. Before the oas interview, the marrage basically ended. Out of about 6 months he spent about 1 month with her.

what will the INS do to the guy?? Will they look for him and send him back from where he came?? How much time does the INS actually spend on this kind of stuff??

Thanks

Yeah, he'll be deported. It may take a while for the paperwork to catch up to him, but it will eventually.

Also, the "fiancee" who brought him here will be liable for any financial obliations he get into while here, which could be considerable. The government can take her house, garnish her wages, etc. Not a good thing!

I am withdrwing the my liability on the AOS. Also, I had a joint sponsor, his brother. But it really does'nt matter, I have found that since we have not yet had the AOS interview, I can go ahead and cancell it. Even if i did'nt we would not pass it. I can see us sitting there, answering the questions. LOL--it would be like we were at a marrage councelers office.
