Title: Interesting request
Post by: Zink on September 16, 2002, 04:00:00 AM
I just got an e-mail from an agency that I used a couple of years ago. This is what it said.

"Gentlemen,

For the past couple of days I have been speaking with the producers of
the Ricki Lake TV show in Hollywood California. They are very interested
in
having us take part in one of their shows on the subject of women from
the FSU who meet and marry men from the USA and other countries.

They asked me if I could find a small group of our clients who would be
willing to go on the show and talk about their experiences, so what I am
now doing is asking if anyone is
interested in participating.

We need clients who are....

1. Clients who are just beginning the process
2. Clients who are already engaged
3. Clients who are already married

I will need this information as soon as possible from you so please do
not delay sending me your information."

Anyone want to go for this? You couldn't pay me enough to go on a show like that. But some guys here seem to like to fight and tell everyone how much they know.

No need to go on a show whose sole purpose is to 1.  degrade men and 2.  do its best to promote everything else in the feminist agenda - and a white man seeking a foreign wife is not it!

Zink,
I wouldn't touch the Ricki Lake Show with a ten foot pole.  I saw how Star from the "View" attacked the Russian women on her show about MOB biz.  You will never get most American women to have an open mind on the subject, let alone a trash talk show host.

Star is just a pig anyway who can not get a date so that is why she attacks anything positive

I know most these talk shows like to reinforce their preconceived notions of what type of man does this.  I don't think I could handle the abuse.

Bubba,
The good thing is that after a while, you just don't care what others think.  I have to admit that in the beginning I was always very aware of what other people's opinions were regarding Lena and I.  Now, I have the confidence not to give a rats azz.  LOL

I watch "the view" occasionally. I could see why Star would attack RWs. They're everything she isn't. I don't get Ricki Lake out here. But I remember it from when I was living in the city. Chances are it hasn't improved any. Personally I can't figure out how they get anyone on those shows no matter what the subject matter.
