Title: renting my wife's flat in Moscow Post by: Mike on December 17, 2001, 05:00:00 AM Last week I posted on this forum that my wife is renting out her flat which is in the center of Moscow. We received many replies because of it being in a great location and the cost is cheap. Once the message left the main board the replies suddenly stopped.
It is in the center of Moscow and minutes away to everything by foot, or Metro ( subway ). Not only can someone stay in a nice apartment cheaply while there, but also the money helps my mother-in-law.( who cleans, and meets people with the keys, and is willing to help Russian fiancee's from other parts of Russia find the embassy, and medical exam clinics ) What I would like to know, does anyone know a good place to advertise this ? There is no real profit in it for us , so paying for advertisement would mean charging more. Now the price is $50 a day, or $200 a week. By keeping the cost down I think everyone would benifit. Mike, I think your wife can go to www.izrukvruki.ru and post and ad there. Or to ask her mom to do it (it's free). It is very uncommon in Moscow to rent a flat on a daily basis. I found only one company that does it, they have very limited amount of flats and very high prices. That is a great idea Tootsie ! My wife also has a Russian/English keypad, and she speaks Russian and English (wink) When she gets home I will have her go to that page. Thanks very much ! |
