Title: Taxi's and stuff Post by: Taliman on November 19, 2001, 05:00:00 AM A Guy working at the NAIA asked me if I needed help.
I told him I was looking for the EVA office. He said "it's just there" and pointed half way across the building. I dragged my bags there and it was NOT there. Turns out it was about 30 feet from where I had started. Why do filipinos give wrong/bad directions? This is not the first time it has happened. If they don't know why not just say "sorry" or even "go away"? Needed a taxi to get to the Domestic Airport from the international. Well I reached into my pocket and pulled out P3 in coins which I had from my last trip :0) The back of the Taxi Receipt says "Each passenger of the vehicle is covered
If you get to the airport Very Early, I was 2nd in line, ask for a seat close Well it's late so more later..... Title: Re: Taxi's and stuff Post by: The Mog on November 19, 2001, 05:00:00 AM ... in response to Taxi's and stuff, posted by Taliman on Nov 19, 2001
Taliman, I found the key to getting directions in the Philippines is to always ask about ten people. If you get several directions that match up...go with those directions...LOL Title: Re: Re: Taxi's and stuff Post by: Taliman on November 19, 2001, 05:00:00 AM ... in response to Re: Taxi's and stuff, posted by The Mog on Nov 19, 2001
