Title: K-1 visa question?
Post by: dolphin on June 19, 2005, 04:00:00 AM
When submitting the k-1 visa application and bio-forms, do I also need to submitt the photos taken of me and Wendy?  Or, just the single pass port photo?  When I sent the application and bio-forms with the $165.00 fee, I did not include the proof of us meeting: photos, plane ticket, etc...  Am I on the right track so far?  I think I need to sent that other stuff later on in the process?  I appreciate any information you guys can give.  Thanks.

You should have sent evidence of meeting and statements of mutual intent to marry along with your petition. All you can do now is wait and see if they ask for more evidence.

Here’s a K-1 checklist:

1. Completed Form I-129F

2. Filing fee

3. Original Form G-325A (Biographic Information) for you

4. Original Form G-325A (Biographic Information) for your fiancée

5. One recent color passport photo of yourself

6. One recent color passport photo of your fiancée

7. Copy of petitioner’s certified birth certificate or proof of U.S. citizenship

8. Copy of documents showing legal termination of all previous marriages

9. Evidence of meeting within last 2 years

10. Original statements of mutual intent to marry

11. Evidence of relationship and mutual intent to marry

12. Signed statement attesting to the fact that document copies submitted are exact photocopies of unaltered originals.
