Title: my experience with amigos.com
Post by: Dan Las Vegas on June 07, 2005, 04:00:00 AM
Just thought I would post my experience for what it may be worth.  I tried a different avenue, posting a profile on amigos.com.  I had my profile on there for almost two years, received over two hundred letters in that time period, most of which were eminently unsuitable for one reason or the other. I wrote to quite a few women hoping to begin a relationship via email, which would then lead to personal visits etc.  I took the advice of many on this board and wrote to a few women at the same time.  I met a couple of them, but there never really was the chemistry that I was hoping for, so I continued in my quest. I finally settled on two women that I thought would be quite compatible with me. One lived in Medellin and was quite pretty, fluent in English with a very sweet disposition. I began to make plans to visit her coming august. While I was writing to her, I also wrote a letter to a woman who lived in North Carolina, however was from Venezuela and lived in the states for five years fluent in English.  Both women seemed to be sincere, caring and responsible and I enjoyed talking with them via web cam and on the phone.  The woman from North Carolina really struck a chord with me and with time, my attention shifted away from the woman in Medellin.

As luck would have it, I moved to the east coast from Las Vegas due to an illness in my family. Since I was only a six-hour drive from her, we made plans to meet shortly after I arrived.  I drove to her house, we met in person at last and talk about chemistry!  She had to be the sweetest, most caring loving woman that I have ever had the good fortune to meet. On top of that, she is beautiful as well. Since that initial meeting, we have continued to visit and our relationship continues to grow.

While I cannot claim success quite yet, I feel we are well on the way to it.  I just wanted to share my experience, what worked for me may not work for you…just my opinion. Good luck to all in their search.

Dan
