Hello ladies and gentlemen- boys and girls,

I have been off the board for several days.  Other than working, I have busy with finalizing  my plans for my trip at the end of this month-- and I have been studying Spanish.  I realize that there are different opinions on this subject.  So, I will tell you my plans, and then all of you  are welcome to do whatever you want about your own situation.  I have read the mulitude of debates on this board, and I have come to the conclusion that there are possibly many roads to success in this "Adventure to Latina Land".  But, here is what I am in the process of doing.  I will be taking my second trip to Cali on May 24 thru June 2.  I am trying to learn a few simple words and phrases, and I will continue to learn more.  I will probably enroll in a Community College Spanish I course this fall. I have no idea when or if I will actually fall in love with a latina; but I will work on the assumption that the opportunities are there and I will pursue them.  I will update you guys on my progress after I return from my trip.  I make no predictions about what will happen.  But, at this point, I do have a lady that I will be spending time with.  After that, who knows?  So, that is my two cents.  I will leave you guys to debate the many points of this issue.  Meanwhile, I will be studying spanish and by the end of May spending time in the sun with a beautiful latina or latinas!  I will not be posting much on this board until I return.  I will be too busy.  Adios.

Sounds like a good plan. You are off to a better start than I was at your stage in the game. Back then I didn't know that forums like this existed and hence during my first and second trips to Colombia I was CLUELESS. You have a good start with what you have learned here. Good luck and keep us posted.
