Affection

...it seems, is a major ingredient for some poster.  I think it is important, but to use this as a gauge how much a woman cares about a guy can be very misleading for those seeking a Latin woman.  A woman is complex and to say if she does does show "lots" of affection is a "red flag" or an "inidcation" thats she is insincere is wrong.  A woman can be crazy about a guy w/o a continual display of affection.  I would say there should be an element of this in every relationship, but a main indicator?

I disagree with you.  Latin culture is much more hands-on, touchy-feely than North American and European cultures.  Any Latino in a Latin America country who is not touching you more than you feel comfortable with either has a problem with themselves or has a problem with you.  The lack of physical affection froma Latina IS a very good indicator that she is not interested in healthy romance with you.

If a Latina is not displaying affection for someone she cares about, that is unusual even allowing for individual differences.
