Patrick, I have been considering getting into the agency business for a long time and working on a different concept. Anyway, I would like to find out about advertising on PL. How do I go about doing that?? Also, I know there are restrictions on what can be said on the forum but a lot of agency guys have big exposure herein i.e. Jamie, Steve from CSH, etc and I would like to at least introduce the service in the forum and offer a discount to PL members. Also, I am looking for a good web guy if interested or if you know of someone. Let me know Thanks. papi

There are no advertisements on PL.  No problem with announcing your service here though. Submit your site as well.  Ping me to process it (add a reverse link to PL) and I'll get it added.  Best to communicate with me via the board as my spam to message ratio in my e-mail account is around 500-1.

As long as an owner is a PARTICIPANT in the discussion, there's never a problem with them posting.  It's the people who register just to post what amounts to advertisements that get booted.

The only advice I'd give is to stay away from cheap hosting.  You tend to get what you pay for and I went through 5-6 hosting providers before I finally found one that's extremely reliable.  Down time and poor performance can kill you.  Trying to save $40 per month via low cost web hosting will cost you in the long run.
