Juanes is touring the country and he will be playing in approximately 20 different major cities during the next two months.
I was able to attend two of his concerts this past weekend.  I went to see him at Madison Square Garden on Friday night in NYC and I had front row center tickets for his performance in Atlantic City on Saturday night.   He is currently touring to promote his latest album "mi sangre".   Most of the songs he played were from this album and his previous one "un dia normal".   This guy puts on a great show and even if you are not into his type of music you can put most of your energy and attention into watching all of the hot latinas in the audience most of whom are Colombian.  I do not know about the rest of the country but at these two concerts and the previous ones I have attended there are loads of "single" latinas in attendence.   There were groups of young women all over the place and striking up conversations with them is very easy.  Even though they might be somewhat "Americanized" they are impressed that some "Americano" knows who Juanes is and when you tell them that you have traveled to their country they are eager to learn more about you.  His concert is all in Spanish, the atmosphere is very festive and the Colombian pride is very evident.   I am not saying you are going to find the love of your life attending one of these events... but it is not often that you will be able to see a Colombian artist in this country perform. You should though, be able to have a great time and possibly make a few Colombian connections with some of the people in the audience who live in and around your area.
