VivaAmar agency

Just curious has anyone used or know someone that has used the agency in Argentina.  I didn't realize that there was an agency there until last night as I was looking through the listing.

They have more of an eharmony.com approach.  Just curious.

During my visit to Argentina two years ago I used them to line up a few dates. It was a one man show (possibly with the help of his wife) operating out of his apartment in BsAs. My suggestion would be not to use them.  Here's why:  For the money I think they are overpriced and more importantly, they don't have a very large female membership.  At the time they only had a couple hundred members and out of that group only a very few were attractive.  There is a reason why Ignacio doesn't have their photos posted for online viewing.  Besides their low membership the attractive models scattered throughout their web site are not representative of the women in the agency. If you look closely, one of the attractive brunettes on their web site has AFA on it!  This gal is from Moscow.  Argentina has many beautiful women but using an introduction agency is not common there.

Baloney, the only real attractive lady I dated from this agency never met them.  The only contact with her was via telephone.

Yea right...the "matchmaking" service they are touting sure wasn't the case with me.  It was simply a look at the photo album with suggestions on who to pick.

I don't want to discourage you from an Argentine trip as I had a great time there and there are loads of attractive women.  If you are looking for an agency though similar to the Colombian ones you won't find it in Argentina Toto.  I did a lengthy trip report on Argentina that you can find in the archives.

Oh I was just curious.  On the way to Colombia two weeks ago,I read an article on the airplane about the new rush to visit Arg.  So I was wondering about any agencies there.  I looked at the list here and found one and was curious.

I wrote to the guy that owns it and inquired and I have to admit he was honest about his service and the potentional of a black man meeting someone there. He didn't suggest that a black man would have a lot of opportunities.  I have to admit, I was pretty sure that was going to be case, and my interest in going there would have been tourist first and maybe meet a few ladies second.

I consider that to be honest and good of him. I may still visit there one day as it seems to be a pretty interesting country on paper.  

But for now the search continues.
