Me and my colombian wife and kid just relocated from the Silicon Valley to Las Vegas and trying see which of the veterans and newbies are out here so we can have our ladies make new friends and share gossip!!!

Adrian,
I heard you picked up and left so fast they couldn't give you a going away party.At least Andrea got aclimated to the states in San Jose with lots of Colombianas around.I don't know who is around LV now,Dave was there but moved to Pheonix.
Hope you like it there.Give us a report.Good place to be 2 years ago,real estate doubled,but you got in on some of the San Jose boom.
I guess it was just over 4 years ago when we all got together in Cali for the first time.Last time I was in LV it was for Howards wedding.I ran in to Sandra at Chipi Chapi Saturday,I didn't even know she was in town.I usually see someone I know every time I go there.I could go out in San Jose and see no one I knew after living there 37 years.Small world in Cali depending on where you hang out.
Sebastian will be 14 2weeks from today,my birthday also.Time flies.Your little guy must be over 2 by now.And John B is a papa for about a week,boy also.

Well, I got offered a corporate partnership for a local mortgage company and I had to jump on the opportunity before they changed their minds or my percentage split. I actually did a trial run over in Las Vegas for a week and got a pipeline of business that would have been at least twice as difficult over there in San Jose......so I'm sure you and anybody else who works in Real Estate can relate.

Actually Pete......this whole mini gang started back in 1999-2000 because Hoda's fantastic  mini-novel/ adventure on the board got us all the kick in the butt to go to Cali....that and Media-Naranja's owner.

Las Vegas----think about it....this is a really good market to be a Loan officer....people moving out, moving in and cashing out......you can get a brand new condo 1 mile from the Palms Casino in the 100's.....lots of invesment opps.

But yes......when you have 35,000 listings prices will stall.  
Anyways...I've bored everybody else!!!

Congrats to John.....we sent him a gift from here....Gotta get his boy a Pittsburgh Steelers Jersey eventually.

Pete...are we still able to call you with VONTAGE....or did it change?

Married since July 7th 2001 and have had a son who is now 3 years old.
Simple advice

HODA is main reason I went to CALI----even though we don't know each other.....only via secondary acquitances- FUNNY what Leaps of FAITH can do!!!

IF YOU ARE CONTEMPLATING making the trip....JUST GO....but learning basic Spanish will really really HELP!!!! AND it's really easy to learn for alot of reasons.

DON't be one of those pricks expecting Ritz-Carleton service from the limited resources at the agencies and then throwing them under the bus thereafter.

Get ready to be seduced and get ready for the RIDE!
