What DVD's would you take to your grave to view over again in the afterlife?

And what would you suggest taking along for shared viewing with a wifey?

[The question assumes that--in the afterlife--they've already fully converted from the VCR format.]

[Though, it would suck to get there and discover nothing but VCR's.]

[Peace out!]

Oops...

Peace out!

P.S.  I use the term "afterlife" in the general sense; not a religious one.  Put your Bible back in its dust jacket.

... in response to Grave Flicks, posted by doombug on Mar 12, 2005

I'm thumbing through my own as I write...

...and elect the following:

For PERSONAL favorites:

DOCUMENTARY:
"Baraka"--Great moving/visual experience and soundtrack
"The Kid Stays in the Picture"
"Paradise Lost"--and its sequel
"Hands on a Hard Body"--NO, it's NOT a porno!
"Capturing the Friedmans"--The utter collapse of a family

SCARRORRS [Homemade term, hehe: Scare + Terror (or Horror) = Scarrorr]:
"Dog Soldiers"
"Cube"
"Ringu," and/or "The Ring"--Some lose-your-boul moments in both versions
"28 Days Later"--Sprinting, epileptic zombies, anyone?
"Alien"--of course
"Final Destination" (and its sequel)--imaginative demise

SPORTS:
"Rickson Gracie:  Choke"--Unbeaten, unbeatable.  Best fighter ever.

COMEDY:
"Office Space"
"Big Lebowski"--AWESOME!
"Swingers"
"Made"
"Shawn of the Dead"--more Comedy than Scarrorr
"Planes, Trains, and Autombiles"--My favorite in the category
"National Lampoon's: Christmas Vacation"--Even if it aint X-mas time, gotta re-visit cousin Eddie
"Nothing to Lose"--Gut-pain-laughter-inducing
"Swimming with Sharks"--more of a VERY DARK comedy
"Old School"--If fragile in the bladder, don't watch it
"Corky Romano"--Cocaine + Dog = Priceless moment!
"Multiplicity"--Genius slapstick
"Groundhog Day"--Has to be one of the most complete/wisest comedies ever

THRILLER:
"Blood Simple"--Drama/Thriller/Crime
"Identity"--TWISTED!
"The Lost Boys"--simple vamp. thriller; but SO many character types

EPIC:
"Gladiator"
"Dr Zhivago"
"Citizen Kane"

WESTERN:
"The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly"--My ONLY favorite western; too unique an experience to leave out

DRAMA:
"Unbreakable"--DARK!
"Jackie Brown"
"Blade Runner"
"Donnie Darko"--DARK-O! Great soundtrack
"Magnolia"--WEIRD and DARK!  Great soundtrack, too
"A.I.:  Artificial Intelligence"--Loaded with philosophical questions to ponder
"Eyes Wide Shut"
"Lantana"

Flicks to share wif' the wifey:

"Honeymoon in Vegas"
"Maria Full of Grace"--Ideal for Latina wives
"Tortilla Soup"--For Latina wives
"Amores Perros"--VERY DARK!  For Latina wives

My Grave-est Flicks of all:  "Baraka" and "Blade Runner"

Hope to read your suggestions/favorites, including those for the wifeys.

Peace out!

Thanks.

I don't have too many concert DVD's, but she's certainly one worth considering.

I've got John Meyer, a couple of Sarah Brightman's, Josh Groban, and Coldplay.

Time to add a hot Latina.

Dude! Worth considering?

I'm hurt, apalled, my panties are in a bunch! No wait they are on my head. Ok I'll stop there.

On a serious note, I have it and still stop to watch it when I see it playing in Frye's.

If near death experiences are to be believed, and there is a common experience reported in almost every case, you will have all the real DVD's you need, looking at your own life plus all kinds of interesting new knowledge people had to forget to return.Facinating subject, you need NADA from here. And far from Bible qouting. No judgement and little relavance for commonly accepted ideas. Its like all the knowledge here is pretty much NADA.
Now talking about such things here, you could come up with a list.Probably would include little of late, its mostly all juvenile and unreal action adventure out there now.

It was only a light-hearted query.  Flick-tip barter.
