Geeez es muy dificil escribi grande email sincero en espanol. Es no problema escribi que me gusta museos, leer, intentar restaurantes nuevo. No tengo hijos, pero me gusta hijos, tengo dos sobrinas, blah blah blah pero hoy yo escribi un email sincero y es casi tres horas! Es ok porque aprenda palabras nuevo hoy. haha! (oppsssss... jaja!)

Ok, no correcto mi espanol por favor porque se tu hombres entiendo. Este es mi espanol y mi gusta!!!

I see the post below "No habla Spanish" maybe it is on this topic but this was on my mind, and I posted before reading.

When I look back and read my early emails to my wife, I groan reading them. I don't know how long I was saying "querido" instead of "querida" addressing her. You will not believe how much they appreciate making the effort - that's what really counts. Hang in there, V-Dude, I know where you're coming from!

I am going through all of that now. I was like cool! I am ready to learn new words! Then I hit the books again and was like S***! I need to polish up on all these other, so I'm changing my Digas to Dices and all that jazz.

I think my funniest moment was on the phone and for 30 minutes with a bad conenction we figrued out "Pagina".

I was saying..."Porque tu eres en pagina?" I was pronouncing it like Vagina with a P. It is actually a lot of fun.

I couldnt figured out why my girl would always be an hour late from when i asked her to be online.  Turned out i was seis with such a bad accent she thought I was saying siete.  I thought that was funny.  Pagina like vagina is hilarious by the way.

that is so true, when someone sees that you are really trying, even with lots of mistakes, they appreciate that and it goes a long way, the mistakes are even cute and humorous, something both can laugh at and i think being to make someone laugh and to be able to laugh at yourself is great.
