... in response to Only in America, posted by slojas1 on Feb 10, 2005Trade on insider imformation. This happens way more than anyone is caught,so when they had a good case on her they made an example of her.And she followed the tricky Dick philosphy of lie your ass off and turn a mistake in to a felony.Unfortunately they did not make an example out of him also.In a land of equal opportunity ex presidents ought to go to jail also.Instead he got pardoned and lied about it untill the end.
And I am a republican. But I was not when he was president.
Equal opportunity ought to apply to lying Bill also.I thought they should not impeach him, just wait untill he was out of office and prosecute him.And its not about the sex.I could understand it being hard to turn down a BJ sometimes, oval office or not.And I will bet that office has seen lots of them. Its about a little thing called perjury. And people ought to get nailed for that every time it can be proven, regardless of who they are.More so because of who they are,the point being no one is above the law,its supposed to apply to everybody. Not one set of rules for us,a different one for the powerfull.
And OJ.Johnny Cochrane is a celebrity now for springing a guy he knows damn well is a murderer. They were talking about it on Larry King a few weeks ago.Dectective Van Atter said he had never seen a more open and shut case,a trail of blood right to his house. And Johnny Cochrane turns it in to a trial of the LA police dept.Very clever.Extremely unethical.Money talks.Poor people go to the electric chair.DNA evidence is really opening some eyes about our legal system.
Yes,it was getting REAL boring around here.
