I'm joining the club...

Looks like I am joining the "Te Amo" club.

Before my trips to Venezuela I was very undecided whether to go to Peru or Colombia for a long time.
In the end I began thinking of Peru more, but when ticket time came, I went to VZ.

Well I caught a special last week and couldn't resist...
I have my ticket and it's Vivaaaaa Las Vegas! (I mean Peru)
Haha! Can't take Jimmy's line.

What "special" did you find?

Was it a round-trip deal?  From a particular departure city?  And, how much?

Thanks Chris! I sent you off an email.

As for the specials, I got a round trip from LAX-LIM for $384 off of travelocity. All the major airlines, had it advertised for this price with travel before May 31st. I fly out of Burbank or LAX, so I am not sure about others.

Since I bought it, I also caught one for $295. That special was up for about 3 days on American Airlines. Man! I should have bought another one.

The $384 is still going on. Since we all have different perceptions of a deal, let me state that I call a deal anything under $400. Once I see that price, I consider buying and stop looking for anything cheaper.

I like to think I got this all scienced out. I have buying points for all the places I fly or want to go.

I saw this for $384 and thought, "Should I or shouldn't I?"
Then it was gone. The next day I was wishing I bought a ticket, then considered $539. I still thought that was reasonable, well, fair for the market. Then I got lucky and $384 popped back up. I bought my ticket immediatley. If I can catch another $295 deal, I'll be planning my second trip before I even go on the first.

That would be interesting... to have all my trips planned and taken before I even get seriously involved with someone. I'll be searching for a girl with a birthday around on of my trips.

As you probably know....my finance is from Peru. I also met her through Matchingsys.com....just like Jimmy.

If I can be of any help to you....please let me know..I have been to Peru now five times over the past year. I am currently waiting for my fiance Visa to process.

I will be going back to Peru for a week to see my future wife on March 19.
