By asking who will pay for the trip, they are trying to help determine whether the visitor will return after the trip or if they may be more likely to stay in the U.S. If someone applying for a tourist visa said her boyfriend or fiancé was paying for the trip, then the embassy would be more likely to disapprove the visa. For K-Visa applicants, it shouldn’t make any difference so I would just have her say that you are paying for the trip.
I would always be wary of anyone who suggests that she fudge the answers on a visa application form. Remember that she must sign her name certifying that all answers on the form are true and correct…
