Opening doors for women?

I just watched a reporter describe how he was taken aback when a woman he opened a door for shouted at him that she was not paralyzed. She also told him how the act was a symbol of how men oppress and view women as a weaker sex. I am not a door opener per se but at times I will hold a door. My wife is always thrilled when I make the extra effort to be more gentlemanly and open the door for her, especially when I have to walk several extra steps to make it happen. WTF ever happened to complementing one another?? What a difference!! I am tempted to write the guy and tell him to expand his horizons and look elsewhere as he is still single. I thought this kind of crap had settled down, sadly I guess that I was wrong. I still can't believe it! I already have my true alma gemela, today her stock just rose another heart.

Hello Slojas1,
We latinas love gentleman that open the door and that reach out their hand to help us stand up, we also love man that take care of us and protect us.
I could tell you another millions things that Latin women love, but if already have a Latin wife you know what I am talking about

Hey Margareth,
I posted a message of greetings yesterday.  So, even though we do not personally  know each other, I would like to ask you to further explain the things that latinas like. Maybe the top 5 or 6 things that would help me to be able to win the heart of a latina. Currently, I am not in a relationship, but I am planning a trip to Colombia in the near future.  I have already been once before last August.
I find your latin culture and the ladies there to be very beautiful and sweet.  Thanks again.

Yep, I've had that happen to me once in the states.  Luckily for me she wasn't very close when I she started to go off on me so I had time to slam the door in her face.  Bitches like that kill chivalry.  -TNC
