Cali 2004

Hi Guys
Just returned from Cali. Stayed for 10 days.The main reason for trip was to visit my wife parents for Christmas. I am not the greatest typist but here are the highlights:
1. Pete's Party- Pete post on here often he has an awesome apartment located in a great part of town plus a graet guy. If I were single this is the place I would stay.
2.Latin Encounters-Went to the new agency it is located in Travelers Suites next to the Intercontinenal Hotel.Margareth will help them until March. The new people are just that new!!!
3.Cali-Pro-Met Cali-pro. I have enjoyed his post in the past and he is a good guy. He is working with Ricardo which is great for Ricardo we went to his agency and the translator did not speak very good english plus she would not negotiate at all.
4.The Calabagato-I know I spelled this wrong on Christmas where they ride the horses,Had to be over 500,000 people over half women.I went in March and I do the basic things in Cali.We stayed in the Intercontinenal went to the gym in the morning Chippechoppe at lunch and unicento at night for amovie. I was there in March I did not see one girl I had seen before. To sum it up this city has the most beautiful girls in the world.If you get cleaned up know basic spanish and do not try to get an 18 year old if you are 70. This is still the place to go. There were a few gringos,Tlc was wrapping up a tour. But this city has 3.5 million people according to a book in my room.Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!!!

Its possible.The big cities in Colombia are growing fast as farmers leave the country for the security and opportunity of the city.Hopefully the security part will become less of an issue as Uribe kicks some butt.
One travel book I had said Medellin was 2 million but I got more current imformation that said 4 million.And the book imfo was only about 10 years old.I don't know what Bogota is now.10 million plus ?
