... in response to Amen, Brother!  Why limit ourselves? (no..., posted by Looking4Wife on Jan 2, 2005

I have to say Pablo knows what he is talking about!  But I don't know if any other guys have noticed this but some women can wear perfume and others just can't becasue of thier PH balance.  A girl that knows how to pick out a perfume that goes with her PH balance and all is really intoxicating!  Pay attention to the way a lady smells sometime and you will find that it is such a turn on when she is in tune with her body.  This does not mean when you are at the agency go up like a dog and sniff her! But as she walks by the fragrence will slightly tickle you nose and it gets another scense involved this meeting a girl since touch won't be a logical second sense for the first meeting!

It's interesting that you talk about scents and the attraction it has on us as men.  Last year a good friend told me he had read an article about how scent (not perfume) plays an important element in attraction to the opposite sex on a genetic level.  The article also said that if a woman was taking the "pill" it had a masking effect to what a man would normally be attracted to which might make a guy think twice if he was attracted to a woman on the pill.

Pablo,
I definitely agree with the scent thing. My ex was very sensitive to fragrance.  It could work in my favor or not.  I used to buy some massage oil with Uceleputus(sic) fragrance.  I would give her a full body massage with that, and then we would make love.  It worked almost every time.  It's unfortunate that the fragrance thing could not save my marriage.  If you hear of a fragrance that also keeps the women from going wierd on you, let me know! ha.
But, seriously, I think on many levels it can be used to attract or repel.  Needless to say, I want to attract latinas.  Do you know of any men's cologne or after shave that makes the latinas hot?  I fondly remember the old High Karate commercials of long ago.  They were goofy, but the idea of the commercials were that the women would love it.

OM,

I was not talking about being attracted to various perfumes but actually a gland in the nose and how that plays a role in who we are attracted to.  I would agree though that a nice cologne is a turn-on for many women.

You are giving away your age amigo by mentioning High Karate.  An unusual new fragrance that is now available here that I have had nice compliments on is Kenzo Air.

Hey Pablo,
I see what you mean, and I still agree with you.  I would be interested to know more about some scientific studies that have been on that subject.  I am very curious about how that works with women. (the natural scents, not the colgones, etc).  By the way, even though my plans are yet firmed up about coming to Medellin; I am still wanting to go there.  If so, then maybe we can become acquainted.
Thanks again.

I'll see what I can sniff out (pun intended) and get back with you on those studies.  Seems like this was a short topic of discussion on the LWL a few months back also.

I do hope you consider Medellin as it's a wonderful city and I'd enjoy meeting you.

You are right that it's hard to pick one feature over another.  However, at least for me, if I like the girl I can overlook her somewhat lacking in some areas, but still if she is flat in the back, it's pretty much a no-go.

If a girl undresses and she has no pompis, to me it's like she is missing something important, like an arm or a leg.  She could still be a nice and wonderful person of course, and there are guys who primarily look at other features.

Ah, the long hair!!! What is it about a long mane of hair that drives a guy wild? AW love to cut their hair short and while it does look attractive on many of them, very few men go nuts for a short haircut. My wife has hair like a horse's mane and thank God, she says she is never going to cut it short.

This is an offensive foul!

I would consider that the biggest bait and switch this side of the Mississippi :-)

Time to re-negotiate the deal! (smiles)

IMO any women who has long hair looks better.  Also, an interesting side note, why is that many, if not all AW that have long hair when they are married promptly get a short haircut when divorced?

Thank goodness many Paisas love long hair and consider it a sign of their femininity.  Ahhh, nothing beats paradise in paisaland.

BTW, UC...you've got mail!

AW in general don't put as much time and effort into looking attractive (just as AM don't oftentimes).  I don't know if it's laziness or lack of time, or probably a combination of both.

So yes, they cut their hair short, formless pants or shorts instead of a tight skirt, a baggy t-shirt instead of more interesting alternatives.  Isn't the contrast in attitude what makes Latin women 'hot' in the first place?
