Brief trip update and question

Greeting everyone,
  It seems that there are internet cafes everywhere in R.P. but many are very slow. I've gone to some and just gave up while waiting. Anyway tonight Carmen and I are in Tagbilarian after taking Super Cat ferry from Dumagete. Enjoyed Dumagete but was noisier than anticipated. Rented a cycle and went into mountains past Valencia. Followed road almost as far as we could and ended up at a preserved area. After hiking stairs into valley we finally came to an incredible waterfall. Amazing place.
  Cebu was interesting also but only spent brief time there on way to Malapasca island at the northern tip of Cebu. Great time diving and got to stay in the little Nipa hut along a white sand beach that I had fanticized about. Regarding the weather-this rainy season is really tough. It's only rained twice since I arrived with one time being at night. Weather is warm but not nearly as intense as heat and humidity in Southeast Minnesta.
  Carmen and I continue to grow closer which brings me to my question. Is there anything I could/should do while back in Manila which would speed up her being able to come to state on a fiancee visa? If you have advice on that please let me know soon. I leave on Wed. AM flight so would have to get it accomplished soon.

Hi Bill & Carmen,

I am glad to hear that things are going well and that you're having a great time! I agree with the advice that others have given; G-325A, Birth Cert. on NSO paper, Passport, Letter of Intent. Completing the G-325A and Letter of Intent now, can save you at least a month in the petition process. It took 4 weeks for the G-325A to reach my fiancee(USPS Global Priority), a few days and phone calls to complete, and 2 weeks for me to receive it.

Hi Bill,
 If you are serious about her, may I suggest that you go ahead and get all the paperwork started for her to get a passport.  It should only take a week or two to be processed, but it took Vilma and me 4 long months just to get her passport.  Some of the paperwork in the PI can be really ridiculous.

The G-325A  form is a biographic information form and is used for both fiancee and spousal petitions.  If you have Acrobat Reader installed on your computer you should be able to print it from the link below.

Thanks for the feedback on your trip.  I hope you will share more details when you can.  How was the road in Cebu on the way to Malapasca island?  I hope you and Carmen continue to grow in your relationship.

Sounds as though you are enjoying yourself!!  

Help her fill out and sign form G-325A, and get adit pics of her, at least 3 or 4. Also get lots of pics of the two of you together.

As others are pointing out- get the biographic form(G-325A) as well as a copy of an app. for a fiance visa if possible( available online through the INS web site) and look over supporting docs required for both! Getting the supporting docs and info together early really helps a lot!
Even getting a birth certificate for your fiance can be a
complicated process if she does not have one....anyway, the earlier you get a list of what you will need, the better!

also, as stated on the back of the
I-129f you both need to write a "letter of intent". It's letter stating that you intned to marry within 90 days after her arriving in America. Both of you must write this statement and sign and date it. I did not realize I needed this and had to wait for Thai to send it to me snail mail.
