Jim got married last night here in Cali.For gringo guests it was me,H2-oh and Calipro.
Jim said after my story he intended to really take his time to choose a woman,but he met his wife,who is crazy about him,and he also for her.I think he is right,that was my impression of them together.
Even if you spend alot of time with a woman you can still be unsure,although it is good insurance.But I think the crazy about you test is even better.I have never heard of it failing,but there could be some stories out there.You could be crazy about each other and still encounter issues that could end the marriage,but it seems much less likely.
The wedding was small but nice,a great place to hold it in,here in the Junambu area.Jim said his wife got a deal on everything.Might be a good resource for others.Jim and wife are off the Cartegena today,back in a week or so.
Jim was a little nervious,what do you do in a spanish civil ceremony?
We told him all you have to do was say "Si" at the right time,thats what mine was like.Then they made him read like 3 pages in spanish.He toughed it out with alot of pronunciation help from the Notary.He was probably better off not knowing they were going to do that or he would have been more nervious.
I wish Jim and his wife the best,I think he really did make a good choice.
