You know there are times when it seems that our lives are out of control or when we go thru a terrible event, we wonder "why me," it is only after we make it thru such times that we find that we are really better off now that the storm is over. During that period it is hard to rationalize that "I" will be better off as a result of having gone thru such an awful time. I think in a few months you will realize that it is much better to be alone than to be miserable and attached, at least now you can choose your level of misery.
