Pablo,
You are on the money, that is exactly who I am speaking of. Now some on this board might have a problem with BMC, since I am neither dead(yet) nor married(yet)I like to have some fun and what better excuse to use than Carnaval. I am really leaning heavly toward going with this group of guys, it would have to be more fun than going solo.
Paypal, way too much money to just hand over to someone with a website. I will keep you posted should I decide to go.
Do you know anything about BMC?

Peace,

I'm interested too! In January I was in Rio for a couple of weeks. I love Brazil's women, music (samba, pagode, forro, bosa nova, etc.), food (especially aracaje) and pace of life. The first time I was in Brazil I travelled to Rio, Foz do Iguassu, Cuiaba and the Pantanal, Sao Luis, Marahno, and Salvador. While in Salvador, I travelled to Conceicao do Coite to visit a woman I met through LatinEuro. I speak fluent Spanish and made a tremendous effort to learn and practice my Portuguese before and during my visits to Brazil. My most memorable moments were dancing samba at the rehearsals of Viradouro (2002) and Salguiero (2003). Although I've turned my attention to Colombia since February, I appreciate your expertise on Brazil.

Way cool, dude!  Excellent adventure.  No other country, not anywhere, can hold a candle to Brazil, in my opinion.  That's why I decided to marry a girl from paradise.  Anybody on this list ever even wonder why the place is called Brazil?  Probably not, unfortunately.  Or why the Portuguese called it paradise?  Or why it's called the Amazon?  Again, I am sad to think that nobody cares, but for the proud few who went the extra miles, beyond the sleaze, to see what really does exist over that far horizon.

Tell us what happened with the girl from Latin Euro.  Let me guess.  No English, or even Spanish, for starters, no interest in a serious relationship, maybe she had a kid or two unbeknownst to you, no education, no culture, and had other gringos who had also bought her address and were calling on her.  Her mother looked at you with daggers, her family did not welcome you, she was embarrassed to even talk to you.  How was that as a guess?  Anyway, please correct me, and tell us all the story.  Was your bad experience with Latin Euro why you gave up on Brazil and decided to check out Colombia?  None of this is any of my business, or anybody else's, just curious.

Thanks for your appreciation, sorry that you gave up on Brazil, you loved it so much, I am curious why you gave up.

Good luck in Colombia, you're going to need it.
