Leave of absence

Well, the long saga of Michael & Martha is about to move to the next chapter. Thursday evening (Thanksgiving Day) she & two of the three children arrive and I've got a million things still to do before they get here. As I hinted in a previous post, I certainly plan ways to fill my nights other than staying up playing computer. And this site is blocked at work so that's out (Laura Miller’s moral code, don’t-cha-know, inside joke for those who live in Dallas). I’ll look in from time to time, make an occasional post that HOPEFULLY says “Never been happier, and Martha feels the same”.

Good luck to everyone, enjoyed your company, ideas and support. I won't be totaly gone, but I sure won't be around as often as I have been.

I wish you and your new family all the happiness in the world. As someone who is involved with a woman with a child, I cna tell you it has been a big plus rather than any sort of negative. With 3 you will have your hands full! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

who has shown an incredible amount of patience and perserverence working his way through every impediment that comes in the way of bringing his sweetheart and her kids from Colombia to here? From talking to Michael B. from time to time and what he has relayed here on PL - it is quite a saga.  Especially the last week or so.

Do you tell him he is a "stand up guy"?  Do you tell him he has "heart" to work his way through all of this with the "class" he has shown?

How about all of the above?

I agree with you 100%, I haven't interacted much with Michael but I think he is a class act with a big heart. I hope and pray for the best for him and his family.

Best wishes to you and your new family! I admire you for considering a woman with children. I initially was only considering women without kids, but now I'm open to those that might have a child. We'll miss your daily posts.
