What are the good points about this place? Any bad points? Are the women serious about marriage to americans or just looking to date?

I just returned from Bogota on November 26.   I first used LAI two years ago but had to put my search on hold after Sept. 11 as my company lost 90% of our business contracts and it has taken us up to now to recover.   I have been satisfied with all of the services of Nelson's agency and do plan on returning again in the near future.   I will post more about my visit in the next few days...   If you have any specific questions feel free to ask.   From my point of view this is an honest operation and seems only to be getting better as the time goes by.

I have nothing but praise to say about Nelson and his incredible staff at Latin Introductions. He really runs a first class ship. People on this board...including "Wizard"....have found their wifes their and are happily married as we speak. I have been their twice and for me...I just found myself more attractive to Cali woman compared to Bogota woman....but again......this is just my opinion. Bogota woman overall tend to have more going for them then Calenas. Many Bogota women in the agencies are educated and many can speak a little or some English. I met some very nice wonderful ladies who I believe were very sincere...some with VISAS...so you know they are not after you for that in those cases. It's all a matter of taste...and for me...I did not feel that "spark"...with them. But this is not the fault of Nelson or his first class operation. He is really a great guy and he and his staff will go out of their way to make sure you are happy and help you find the woman of your dreams.

They are definately worth checking out.

I called the local number in S. Florida after being contacted via email about their services. The person that answered informed me that he was in the middle of an emergency. I had no problem with that, but he then requested that I call him back as opposed to asking for my number and calling when he was free or even turning me over to someone else. I didn't call back and needless to say, I never received a call back to follow up. As a consumer and my first time considering joining an agency, I didn't feel this was the place to spend my hard earned cash.

You were probably dealing with one of Nelson's agents in North America... This is not doing business with LAI or Nelson directly... If you navigated to latininto.net instead of latinintro.com you are not dealing with Nelson or LAI directly...

After visiting many agencies in Latin America all I can say is that LAI ranks as number one on my list for service, professionalism and quality... There's not even a close second place in my book...

My suggestion would be to call Bogota directly to speak with Nelson...

I have visited every agency in Bogota and most of the onese of in Cali.They are by far the best agency around.None of them are perfect.You probably talked with Dominic.Maybe he didn't have a pen handy.If you are serious about a Colombian wife,you are doing yourself a disservice by excluding LAI.

Dominic is a police sergeant and probably did have an emergency on his hands.  I spoke with both Nelson and Dominic before joining LAI a couple years ago and they were most helpful.

I will contact the main office in Bogota should I have the urge to join again. I'm having good success using alternate methods and believe there could be some good news to announce soon. My biggest problem in this whole experience was getting rid of the child in the candy store mindset. It has been fun for the past three plus years and I have come close twice, but now is really the time now to select one to call my own. Can't be accused of rushing things! ;-) Wishing all in this endeavor the very best.
