Hi winners and losers.  I have a question about this list.  Is it considered polite and proper to send a private e-mail to a list participant, off the list, privately?  Or is that taboo?  I have a lot of good stuff, I am in the loop about Brazil, I don't want to fill up the list with a lot of postings that are not what you all want, but at the same time, this is a Latin list, and a gathering place for good news.

You call this forum a "gathering place for good news". We welcome bad news as long as it is constructive. An example would be a problem someone is having with his novia, or a recent violent occurence in South America.
We also welcome any information about Brazil.

You were asking about what is "polite and proper" and started your question with "Hi winners and losers".

Brian, your posts have improved but as an agency owner, I still don't understand why you continue to make you and your agency look bad.

Yes, and why did he use the subject line "Users and abusers"?  Sounds like another insult to the entire list.

Little B

Do you remember when some arrogant jerk posted the following:

"But please write your postings according to the rules of grammar that we all learned way back in grammar school."

If that arrogant jerk were to review your post he would probably say that the following was a run-on sentence:

"I have a lot of good stuff, I am in the loop about Brazil, I don't want to fill up the list with a lot of postings that are not what you all want, but at the same time, this is a Latin list, and a gathering place for good news."

A man who knows what a run-on sentence is! Wow. You've got my vote.

Keep the SPAM to yourself unless invited into a private conversation with another poster offline...

Your personality and attitude are infamous on LWL Bryan... Seems you've not changed your ways at all since sporadically posting here...

"winners and losers"

Now just which of those categories do you fall into??? I know I have an opinion... Can you guess which???

It's OK as long as those emails are not like the private emails you sent to posters on another forum. But something tells me they will be.

Sure you can send a mail directly to a poster here if he shows his address.
But there is a big lack of imformation about Brazil here so most people would be interested and its not taking up space, its what the list is for.
But why the winners and losers? Why be negative?People really do want to hear about Brazil. You have a big opportunity to post,so why get offensive an alienate people?Huh
