But when HD was bashing a guy for moving in with hsi elderly mom to help her.. . .I don't remember you coming to the guys defense. When HD called the same guy a player for moving to mexico to study spanish, saying the guy was a player because he wanted to "date" women.. . . . . . I didn't see you coming to his defense. When a guy posted about asking a girl in the mall directions to the food court and asking her to join him, and HD trashed the guy as a player and women in the mall as less serious than the agency girls.. . . .again not many came to that guys defense.

OTOH....CP has bragged about his "conquests", bragged about "stringing them along" for 150 per month, talked about paying 150 bucks to meet a girl that already has 3 novios, getting engaged to a woman that already had a novio, and then sends some thugs to rough him up and ruins her reputation when she wouldn't ditch the guy she REALLY loves. CP posted pics of ladies that were not comfortable with it, and shrugged it off as if the ladies have no rights. CP posted his ex wifes cell number on a place he says he is scared of the "whackos" out there.

CP, gets defended by the "good ole boys", while HD who is 180 degress polar opposite did as well. I have to laugh at the lack of consistency. I would love if HD was still here, just so I can watch the good ole boys take sides. . . . .  .or not.

I didn't defend those people?

You know what else?  I was in Dallas 40 years ago and I didn't save President Kennedy's life either.  All I had to do was stop him at the airport and tell him there were shooter(s) waiting downtown, but I didn't do it.  Of course, I was only 7 at the time, but it was my job as an American to defend him.  Right, Ralph.

Get real!

Numero uno - Much of the time that Houndog was posting here here I wasn't posting.  I started as DallasSteve (after he was already a "good ole boy" and then stopped posting for about 6 months or so and then came back as DallasSteve2 because the old account was inactive and I couldn't restart it.

Numero dos - When I was posting I often disagreed with Houndog.  (But a lot of that is not in the archives because Patrick deleted those banal threads).

Numero tres - When he returned for a short time again this year, I clashed with him again.  Did you see that?

Numero quatro - Since when is it my job to defend someone?

The fact that I didn't defend certain people doesn't really prove much, especially if I wasn't an active poster at that time.

Whether or not his being banned was "fair", the lifestyle he promotes is not worth much to those looking for marriage material. None of the girls that hang out there look like legitimate marriage material for those whose idea of marriage involves more than showing off your hot Latin bride for a couple of years till she moves on. I wasn't offended by his posts/pictures, I just considered them irrelevant to the purpose of this site. He is still in his twenties and it shows, his priorities are pretty different than most of the men here.

You hit the nail on the head.  Is this a board for promoting lifestyle or for supporting men looking for wives?  They are two different functions.  Anyone who knows anything about Latin America has to just sit back and smile at guys who are on an ego trip because they can get a date in Colombia.  Anyone on this board could get an album full of pictures taken with a room full of young and nasty chicas from most any Latin American country.  It’s no effort at all and doesn’t mean anything.  Getting a good wife is much more difficult and we can all do much better without the distraction.

Hmmm. . . . .not really sure. It is a travel site mostly for "adventure tourism" and "sex tourists". I had found that site years ago when I did a search on the DR. I was a member for a while. There was some good info there not related to sex tourism etc.

I still stay at many of the hotels that were recommended and eat at some of the restaurants that were recommended. In some ways it is like this place. I like getting info on things to do, and places to see in various countries etc. Most of what gets posted here is of no interest to me, but there is enough to keep coming back.

When I read your profile, no wonder you are outraged. You are an attorney who once owned an adult-oriented business.

Patrick has a family and doesn't have time to monitor every move that is made on this board. Yes, some active members have broken a rule from time to time but with batman, he broke two rules: He schilled his agency and he posted semi-nudes. As much as I liked Batman, I can't blame Patrick for banning him.

I agree with Zack for what that's worth. Number 1 honestly this is Patrick's web site, and we are his guests(and no I'm not being a suck up unless my honest opinion makes me one). So to flagarently disregard his rules, is to invite banning. If I can't stand the rules, then I should move on. Secondly, it was dubious to me exactly what Batman was promoting. However, the girls were BEAUTIFUL, and I certainly enjoyed the view!!!! I still wonder if for $125 a day rent Batman charged, did that include only the house? (Ha-Ha!)
