Here are a few questions you might ask when getting to know someone you just met.
1) What are some things that others misunderstand about you
2) What would you change about yourself
3) What is your perception of life in America
These are just a few open ended questions that could become a good barometer on the mindset of your prospect. Be prepared to answer the same questions if you use them. I'm sure others can add to these.
