... in response to Clarify please, posted by DallasSteve2 on Nov 6, 2003

Steve,

The prices I listed were paid in Sarasota FL.  Unlike most of the other posts I've read, she really had a dramatic change with the procedure - think National-Geographic-Pancake-before and nice-medium-sized-rack after, plus the skin tone (re stretchmarks) was markedly improved.
Yeah, I had to throw the "bitter" remark in!  As with everyone, there's a long story behind our 20 year marraige - but 3 words pretty much sum it up:  narcissist & nice guy.
The good thing is that I am very doubtful that I will ever fall into that trap again, and that I am still young enough to have a lot of time with the right woman, once I find her.  Me encanto las latinas and there are certainly plenty in Florida. I have my son to consider for the next 7 years, but after that I may even consider the ex-pat route.  I think CaliPro hit the nail on the head when he said "Bring her to the US and she will live like a queen, or move to Cali and you will live like a king"

Haven't seen many examples of AM bringing their ladies to the U.S. and her being a Queen:) In fact many the  oppsite. I've seen women very lonely and wanting to go back home. I've seen others shocked the men they are with did not have the money they pretended to have. While some are working at jobs far beneath their educational level . Calipro's brought his wife over here and had her work at hooters. She was ok with it, but that is still work.
To me, being a Queen means living like one. Just as an AM being a King in S America means, great house or condo(very cheap)servants, guards, spending money freely, living the good life, and being thought of by the locals as something special:).
I know of only two women (Russian) who married very wealthy men and were actually living the life anyone would envy.No work, credit cards the works. Unfortunately, both were scamming and left after 2 years with quite a bit of money.
I guess he means a Queen in her choices of men. For that I will agree.Once here, she may quickly realize she can upgrade to younger, handsomer or richer men.
I watched the show "Average Joe" the other night. Initially, the girl is very dissapointed to have met the "bachelors" even though she clearly stated looks were not important to her.But before she met the men, another man had come out of the limo(model type) to tell her her potential suitors would arrive soon. She was swooning at this guy and jokingly saying"Please come back" as he went back to the Limo.
Well, some news program reported she actually walked off the set after she met the "Average guys" (some nice, some total shallow Hals)and had to be persuaded back onto the set.
From previews it seems she actually starts having a great time with the guys, and seems to actually like a few. I think  she makes out with a couple of them. But there is a twist in the previews. The twist I think is later as she gets closer to the "Average Joe", they introduce some hunks to the mix and therefore see what happens once she has more of a choice with the type of men who probably represent the "dream men" of most women. Also, how honest are women when they say looks do not matter. Interesteing to see what happens.

Thanks for the update on Average Joe.  I hadn't heard that rumor (that she wanted to walk off the set), but you can definitely believe it from the way her facial expression changed when she saw the men stepping off the bus.  I hope you're right about the surprise of adding some hunks.  I read there will be a surprise twist this week.  Interesting, indeed.

It was interesting she eliminated 4 guys and she kept all the chubby guys.

That surprised me, too.  I expected the large guys to be the first out the door.  Maybe some girls like fat guys?

I think she was then trying to prove that she is really not shallow at all.She had stated from the very begining looks did not matter so  she had something to prove:)
I heard she got a good talking to after she ran off the set after the initial meeting with the guys. Apparently, NBC had another girl there ready to take her place if she walked off .She probably is getting paid well and did not want to blow her TV chances.

It looked like she purposely eliminated the better of the average Joe's either to prove to the audience she is not shallow, or to screw with the studio's head for doing this to her:).
Come on, some of the guys she kept had pretty bad teeth or a bad case of roseacea. Some were actually a bunch a bunch of alcholics. Did you see how much booze one of the fat guys was pouring down his throat. Great for a frat party. But if you are in your 30's 40's looking for a girl above your league, not a good move. Especially on a reality show, because she will eventually see you are a bigger idiot than the good-looking men she complains about.
After her initial reaction to the good-looking guy and the look on her face when she saw the "Average Joe's" looks DO matter to her,but she is trying real hard to prove otherwise .
That Indian guy she kept is also a real odd-ball.Most women would have run like hell after an encounter with this guy.I guess she did not want to look like she descriminates on race either. So she kept him:) Not only is he full of himself, but the few minutes she got to spend with him, he actually asked her if she liked broccoli. What kind of line is that? Plus, he never smiles.
I'm gonna watch. This show is very interesting.

I saw that fat guy in the pool with somebody pooring alcohol down his throat.  Like you mentioned he's no teenager.  At his age that's a real good way to shorten your lifespan.

Elcolombiano your decision brings back a painful memory of what happened to me when I was new to Colombia and naive.
My Calena and I had the visa papers rolling. In the meantime, she wanted a nose job. I didn't think she needed one, but whatever makes her happy. I payed to have it done in Cali. After the surgery she gradually became more aloof to the point where we broke up a few weeks later. She got what she wanted. I would wait until after you're married if I were you.

But if you decide to have it done, I would choose the implants that are beneath the pectoralis muscles. They are inserted thru incisions in her armpits, thus the breasts are completely scar-free. My EX American girlfriend had this done and they looked totally real. I didn't think they felt very real though.

She is having it done under the pecteral musceles. She tried looking for a surgeon that insurts under the arm but she could not find one she liked. The cut will be around the areola. Several of her sisters freinds have had it done this way and are very happy with the results. She is using the same surgeon they used.

EC,

Careful, I've dated many Calenas that had this done via the areola and a large majority of them had lost sensitivity in one or both of their breasts.  Some to the point where it was no longer sexually pleasurable or even painful.  Just something to think about. -TNC

My preference is not through the areola but through the under arm. We have had trouble finding a surgeon we like with experience with this method. I spoke with a surgeon in the US that told me when the womans sensation is affected the nerves grow back but it takes about a year. I don not know if this is true or not. I need to research this further.

You are correct. I have read about this. I have been told the nerves will regenerate in about a year if this is a problem. I have had trouble finding a surgeon that will do it under the arm that has good recomendations.

actualy, the best place for the incision is through the belly button, no scars, and a lot less pain and brusing. they also have new tear-drop style breast inplants that look more natural.

The tear drop shape is good when it is above the muscle. For the below the muscele the pecteral muscle compreses the implant making it look tear drop in shape

Mudd you must be joking. The small incision size is possible since the implants are typically inflated after they are inserted. But from the naval to the breasts?? That is a lot of tunneling. And you say that is less painful? Sounds like a lot more post-op pain to me.

I have never heard of that. And I doubt they can go beneath the pec muscles with that approach. The teardrop shape would not look more real if they were not implanted deeper, below the pec muscles. Who cares of they are teardrop shaped if you can see the outer contours?
