1) If you live in New York, Florida or any other place where there is a local Avianca office, you can send thing to colombia directly with them. This option is pretty cheap and the things get there in 1 or 2 days.
2) Set up a Miami drop box. (I will explain how to do it later). Once set up, you just send you parcels regular mail to your drop box in Miami and from there the courier service takes care of getting it to Colombia. This is used by ppl in Colombia who want to order things from Amazon or other catalouges in the USA. They just have the merchandise shipped to their drop box in Miami and the experts at the courier service get it to colombia muy muy rapido.
