I have paid $100 to meet one girl. If you pay $400 to join a marriage agency and there are only four women that you are interested in that's $100 each and it took me days to meet them.

It seems to me that if you have really desirable women that a guy might be willing to spend $150 to meet her. I know I would.

I know a girl, is a girl, is a girl. NOT!

Some of us have preferances.

What you (1 person) are willing to pay is not very important if someone wants to have a "going concern".  He has to target a much larger client base and I think $150 per woman is going to shut his doors very fast.

What's the normal rate for a one week agency membership in Cali?  I've read here that it's around $100 per week.  If that's true very few guys are going to pay $150 to meet one woman when they can meet 10 or 20 women for $100 (which is par for the course in one week at an agency if you don't have CaliPro standards).  

If you want to meet a beautiful girl for $150 in Cali there are plenty of options and you'll get a lot more than just a handshake.

You are probably right but if you brought her here then that would make you a pimp.

Anyway I think the marriage agencies don't really charge enough for the service they provide. Before I would even think about opening a marriage agency in Cali. I would try to get all the agency owner's together so we could all raise the prices. Yes, I would have to start a new Cali cartel. There is no way I would ever deal with the guys that go down there for $400 a year NO WAY!

I suppose Colombia has no anti-trust laws like the US.  Your idea sounds like a good one, but still your problem would be that eventually some wildcatter would come in and undercut your prices like WalMart.  Then if he doesn't want to play ball are you going to "rub him out"?  A lot of people in Colombia would, but I can't live that way.

I don't know if there are any anti-trust laws in Colombia but I'm pretty sure that they aren't enforced even if there are. If I opened up a marriage agency in Cali I would hire Russians to run it. The prices would go up but the women would be better looking at least in my agency anyway. Oh, and there wouldn't be any wildcatters my russian comrads would see to that. hehehehe!

When Bud started Latin Love in 1999 he was the first I know of to have no fees,just pay for the room.Now the rooms were expensive,he started a $100 a night then I think it got down in the $50-$60 range before he closed it.And you got a great place to stay.If you stayed there 21 days like me it added up.But for a short stay you were way ahead of the fee places.Latin Connections used to charge $1000 to walk in the door.Ed Beckwith wasn't too happy with Bud I don't think.
Now I think the best deal is just walk in the door and negotiate.By the day week or introduction.
Thats what got the Two Gringos pissed off enough to write the book and start the web site.They paid $1000 each to some whoesaler that didn't even have an agency to send them to a real agency and then watched some guy walk in the door and negotiate $200.
I agree with paying a fair price.I think $300-$400 max.More if you stay there.Maybe $100 a day if you were not going to interview many women.
Also,about the hot ones like on travelers site,if you did pay $150 to meet one girl you would need to be pretty confident she would like you.That would be a bit much for her to turn up her nose and leave.

I have a philosophy about meeting women. I would rather be turned down by a really hot chick than meet a hundred that I'm not crazy about.

I have a pretty good batting average in Cali so I wouldn't be to concerned about the ladies not taking an interest in me. But, that isn't the point.The point is I go to Cali because there are a lot of women that I find extremely desirable.

The only reason I pay anybody money in Cali is so I can meet a very attractive women (FAST!) that has an expressed interest in meeting a gringo.

I think guys that go down to Cali should try to find a women they really believe is a knock out that also is attracted to them. I would suggest testing the waters as soon as possible to find out if you have a lot of sexual chemistry. Why spend a lot of time finding out if you have similar interests and hobbies just to find out you have been going down a dead in road when it comes to sex. Believe me it is not hard to tell when caleñas really like you because they will be on you. It is really easy to pick up on their body language once you have been down there a while.

Having said that, sometimes they are hard to read when you are in mixed company. You have to get them alone. I have met women that I thought were really conservative until I got them alone. WOW!! Did they ever change my mind.

Naw, I don't think I would charge nearly that much. I mean, we don't have a bed and breakfast, so we don't have the bills they would have. We have an office, so it's cheaper for us to operate.
Now we will have an apartment you can rent with some pretty good services and that is going to be pretty reasonable, as well.

Actually, we talked about that last night. We wouldn't charge anything near that much. We would have three way calling. So, it would be you, her, and the translator on the phone. Once that is organized, I'd put a payment option on the site. If a guy shows up at the door, we would charge him the same price we would on the website. He could make the call from the office (while he's in Cali) or he could call the office from his home and we could arrange for the girl to be in the office when the call comes in. I don't really like that option, because things happen. You could be working late or, you know Cali, she might not show up.
We have a clause in our authorization forms that if a girl does not answer her messages after a point we cut her from the service and she'll be replaced. The guys writing that girl will have the option of choosing a new girl to replace the girl that got cut.
