Recommended Agencies

Ok, I need good reputable agencies for Latinas, particularly those in Colombia.

I am looking for agencies which offer a variety of packages, i.e., correspondence as well as social events and tours.

Since I am not able to get back to Colombia until perhaps the middle of next year, I would like to make some connections in the meanwhile.

Ideally, I would like to send a list of the names of a number of women I'm interested in, and then if they in turn show interest, I could write them.

That is a way that helps me avoid wasting a lot of time and meeting dead ends.

The back-up would be after writing a few of the women for some months and none of them pan out, I would go to the agency anyway and may meet someone more to my liking.

I checked out this site---   www.international-introductions.com/services.asp and it looks good, but doesn't "seem" to have enough women.

Both TLC Worldwide and SOTB have men's personal ads.  I think you're placing too much stock in the ladies contacting you first though.  It doesn't guarantee that she's going to be interested beyond the first exchange of letter, e-mail or phone call.  Many of them may also be doing the same thing many men do-  Contacting many people knowing they will narrow their selection later.

There will still be dead-ends.  It's going to happen no matter what method you use.  It's just part of the game IMHO and not avoidable.

Be sure to let them know up front that you will be coming to their city and give them a time frame.  The vast majority of the men using correspondance will never in a million years actually travel to meet anyone and any lady experienced in this will quickly drop contact with someone they think isn't serious enough to travel.

You will hear a variety of responses to your question, but personally, I liked Latin Encounters and Latin Best. I have heard many good things about Nelson's agency in Bogota, but I have never been there. I believe that these agencies also have parties from time to time and occasional tours. As far as tour-oriented agencies, I had a good experience with Barranquilla Beauties. There were almost 500 ladies between Friday and Saturday night. All of the agencies I mentioned have ladies on their websites that you can write to in advance.

Regarding your desire to write to a number of ladies first to avoid some dead ends. In my opinion, I think that writing first, although it has its advantages, can lead to even more dead ends. Writing is time-consuming, pictures are deceiving, and you can't get a good vibe about a lady from emails as much as you can from actually being there with her. But since you can't return to Colombia until the middle of next year, you don't have much of a choice until then. Good luck with your search.
