K-1 Visa info

Has anyone here gone thru the K1 Visa (Fiance Visa) process? Could you post some comments on your experience bringing a girl to the US this way was for you?

I've brought 2 Colombianas to the US on K1 visas.  However, the INS only let me bring one at a time.  ;-(

A lot has been written about K1 visas in the archives.  I'm not trying to put you off, but an open-ended question like yours may not get a lot of response.  If you post more specific questions you may generate more responses.

Hi- If you're looking for the 'mechanics' of the filing there is a boatload of stuff in the archives. I recall a few msgs where the posters submitted a very detailed list with things to watch out for on every form.

But I may be misinterpreting your question - perhaps you are asking about experiences/adjustment AFTER she was here?

Actually both. The 'mechanics', and experiences after arrival in the US. I'm seriously considering applying fo my Cali novia whom I've known for years.....the nice thing about it is that she has never in 2 years asked me to do this, and does really want to leave Colombia, so I'd figure we'd both give it a try, and if it does not work, shw would be very happy to just go home afterwards.
