Does anyone know the exact date/s of the 2003 Miss Colombia pageant that is will be in Cartagena next month?  I know it is held sometime in November but I am trying to coordinate a trip during this period?  I looked online and only found photos and stories of past pageants.

I suspect hotels/apartments are also tougher to come buy during this time.  Again, just would like to know if anyone knows the details of the dates or perhaps even a website where I can find everything.

Thanks.

I don't know the exact dates of the pagent but I know that the delegates have to be there as of the 1st of November untill the 15th. So I would but the pagent somewhere in the second week of November. Remember that Juan Pablo Montoya is also going to be making an exposicion in Barranquilla or Cartagena that same week, so the place is going to be absolutely mobbed. Prices on hotels and airfare are going to be sky high. But it is all worth it because this is the best time of the year to be in Cartagena - all the beautiful people are going to be there.

If anyone can get their hands on the paper version of El País today, check out the "vivir" section. They showcase some of the aspirants for Miss Colombia 2003. My bets are on Ms. Medellin, Ms. Antioqia, Ms. Cauca (who I hopefully will be getting introduced to this weekend) and above all Ms. Caldas. This blonde hair blue eyed paisa from the central cofee region of Colombia is second to none!
