I know this question has nothing to do with finding a foreign wife, but after hearing Zorrowins complaint about the men out-numbering the women in his city, and hearing the same from a friend who lives in Denver, I was just wondering which city in America is the best place for a single man to live?

I don't plan to move anytime soon nor am I writing a book.
Just curious.

Here is a rating from Forbes if you want to read it.

Well Austin, Texas is rated as number one on Forbes list and I have to agree as far as the recommendation goes, which is for YOUNG, single men.  I loved it as a young, single man back when I was 30 and I met my ex-wife at a wonderful country-western bar there.  But the problem is that YOUNG is the key word.  When I got divorced I was 45 and Austin sucked as a place to be single then.  So everything is relative.

Hi Iswote,
Thanks for the info. Is that is why you moved to Ft Lauderdale after your divorce? I'm assuming Ft. Lauderdale wasn't much better for a 45 year-old since you eventually went to Colombia.

Any city in the U.S. is great if you don't care what she looks like.
