Hi everybody, and thanks for the great support.

I am confused.  I don't know if it is proper to reply to a posting on the list, or whether it is better to reply to the person personally, in a private e-mail message off this list.  When I reply on the list, it seems that I am draging my dirty laundry through the town square, and when I reply off this list, privately, there are complaints that I attack.

With other lists, which some of you know about, regarding Latin, there are very exact rules, and when you join such a list, the rules are given in advance.  This list seems to be a free for all.  Please correct me if I am wrong.  The threats of being 86'd are amusing, btw, keep them up, they make me want to tow some imaginary line.

I like the forum.  Too bad there are no Latin people here, no women, and only one Brazilian, me.  I wanted to respond to some postings, but did not know if I should reply here on this sorry escuse for a list, or privately off this sid row.

I was nice to "Iswote" because I thought that was some sort of native American name.  But his or her or its latest posting is such that I no longer consider such an entity worthy of anything but distain and scathing contempt.

Thanks for the kind words from Wanderer, and from the rest of this list who shined through.  For the rest of you all, I have had enough threats to last a thousand years.  Like we say in the Rocky Mountains, s**t or get off the pot.  I am on this list or I am not, so will you all please stop beating around the bush?

And now for something completely different.  Yes, Brazil.  If you want to talk about a place which the original meaning meant paradise, a place larger than Australia, the most amazing place you could imagine, where the women are legends, the streets are made of gold, the women are the best, the food is the best, the music is the best, the president is going to meet you at the airport and give you the keys to a new Ferrari, everything is free, the sky in never cloudly, the water tastes like wine, and no matter which numbers you pick, you are going to win the Lottery.

Obrigado (thank you in Portuguese)

Big B

Brian,
I have been gone for a week and have not followed every post here.I went back and read a few.I remember your story  from Latin Women List of finding your wife and how happy you are with her.And you are very bullish on Brazil, which is good if that is your experience.
Admittedly this board is Colombia biased and also Cali biased, because thats the place most of us have met the women we were looking for.But we do need a bigger perspective and I think alot of guys, including myself(getting a divorce) are very interested in Brazil.
And I guess you have an agency of some sort,or are trying to develop one.
Sooo, why not try to be nice and not offend people,so you will have a greater chance of getting your message across???

I am an American.  I live in one of the most prosperous nations in the world.  Here in the United States the streets are literally paved with opportunity for those that seek it.  Here in the Los Angeles area the guy that cuts my grass makes more than some lawyers, and doctors do elsewhere.  People risk their lives to make it here to this country to pursue a better life.  They risk drowning at sea, or dying in the dessert, just to get to here.  No, this is not paradise this is the land of opportunity.  This country has something that people want other that the women or a place to take a vacation.  The thing that can be annoying is when foreigners with high praise for where they left, and nothing but disdain for the country that feeds them.  Nothing but praise for the country that they do not want to return to, and complaints about the US the country that they choose to come to because the is no other place like it on earth.  Yes, this country like all others has problems and always will.  We do not live in a utopia.

The make up of the board is what it is because the men that are looking for women are looking abroad.  Primarily U.S. or Western European men looking for exotic women in South America and elsewhere.  The novelty of it is one of the draws and the women want the aforementioned men because they represent a better life.  It may not be all roses but it is what it is.  American women are just not interested in going to live in a 3rd world paradise.  The women in those places don't want to be there either.  mr. big b, can you think of anyone else that does not want to live in a 3rd world paradise?

We are all here to learn something useful about our pursuits.  I think everyone has something to offer, more than just criticism.

b, you just keep upping the stakes with your classless drivel and now I modify my prediction for your departure to 2 days.  Before you are gone I just wanted to wish you the best in Brazil and hope you return there soon as I am sure paradise is incomplete without you.

Big Brian,

I don't know how many members there are on this forum, but I do know that there are a lot more readers than there are posters. There is no telling how many Brazil travellers read this board. Your posts have sent a clear message to a lot of people:  Don't visit the Fire Passion agency in Brazil. No offense Brian, but assuming you are the real owner of that agency, I would post more wisely if I were you.

I just wanted to be sure that Patrick sees what you think about his forum before you edit your post:

Possibly he meant skid row--where all the bums hang out.

There are a few women who post here, but they are polite and not obnoxious. One of them is already living in Paradise as we speak, but she has an objective view of it.
