Just moved ---haven't read the board for a week. I see we now have a Zorro Wins I wonder who he is? Then our impertinant 32 year old schoolteacher  50 posts in his first month and phillipinas are better than Latinas.  Gee I love these supposed newbies that arrive and immediately begin to lecture us and tell us so much that we haven't heard before and make those  borderline insults  (that they really don't mean as insults).

I am sure that there must be someone here who believes one should not wash ones dirty laundry in public or am I just old fashioned. I see we are also having a newbie giving psych consults.

The Lorros are in full voice,
singing the google song
and every bird has an opinion
based on what he read and heard.
A vicarius life is better than no life at all.

Hi Jim C,
Of course you are right in many of your observations. Have you ever heard of soap oprea stars being stopped on the street and lectured by their fans about their "behavior" as a character on the TV show? The fans act like they really know the star! My situation is something like that. I've been montoring this board for 6-9 monthes. So after a while I "feel" like I know you people. However, truthfully you weren't even aware of my existance.

If I was happily marriaged(I was married for 18 year-Hapily-Not exactly) I would have no need or interest in traveling to Colombia(See no u-I do learn)or anywhere else. However, I'm not and I'm not very pleased with the caliber of AW interested in me. And yes I'm a hippocrit and not very realistic in wanting an attractive lady 10-15 years as my mate. Bottom line-That is what I want. Ain't gonna happen in the good ole USA. Colombia? That is what intreges me. Can I really have my cake and eat it too?

Well Fox

I find your writing style interesting. You can have all the cake you want, but it is not free. There is no such thing as a free lunch. So step up to the table and see whats on the menue. Maybe you will be satisfied with what you order. JIM C

Yeah, you need to leave quickly! I have no problems with anyone expressing their points of view, I do take issue with you thinking you are the gatekeeper. I prefer the youngsters bs**t opposed to your grumpiness (when the cats away) any day.
Grumpster is the sobriquet you should use.

Actually, I was trying to be humoreous and point out how quickly this forum can become bizaar. I have no desire to be a gatekeeper or monitor for this site. I think Patrick does a wonderful job. But I think you are mistaking banter for something important. There is nothing of earthshaking importance on this site. As I have said before, I am here for entertainment and to help with any first hand information that I may have.

If you don't think some of the people here are bizaar and rely on this site for your social communication maybe you need to take some of your own advice and re-evaluate your existance. Yes it is true that I take the devil's advocate position and do dislike posters who are here to BS people with knowledge they simply do not have. If you do not like my style, too bad.  At least I do not fabricate or should we call it, lie?  Your posts have always been reasonable in the past why so sensitive now?  It is just not important. jim

You are right, I have become a little touchy lately. I have been maintaining a constant vigil at my mom's side since she suffered a major heart attack monday, she is going to make it and I feel much better overall. It puts all of our concerns about colombianas and any other 'anas' in perspective. I certainly do not rely on the list for anything but a little entertainment. I have been around since 99 but have done very little posting until recently. My apologies and the list definitely needs to hear all points of view. You still are the Grumpster!

Did you read my entire second post? If so what are you trying to say?  Please use the quotes in context or you may appear to have an agenda. Most of us here are intelligent enough to read an entire post and comprehend its meaning. jimc

Come on Jim, you are being way too grumpy.  I knew that good attitude of yours couldn't hold.  Definitely need to get back to Cartagena.

I think you should cut Zorrowins a little slack, but I agree with your assessment of senge.  I have no idea why senge is even posting here since he dislikes Latins so much unless he just likes to start trouble.

I think Zorrowins is a legitimate newbie, so please don't make him feel unwelcome.  He brings a different perspective and that is always a good thing even if it is one you disagree with.  He has shown himself to be a considerate poster so far and that is all that really matters.

Just a word of advice...

When you join a club, it's rarely seen as proper etiquette to piss in everyone's Wheaties... Statements like: Cattle-Calls, marrying women after knowing them two weeks, Asian women are more stable Latinas, failing to spell a countries name correctly and pointing out the obvious negatives of the process... These were just a few of your actions that I recall from memory... I'm not saying these things don't happen, just don't rub people's noses in it...

Around here, this will label you VERY quickly as a TROLL by the "Good Old Boy" network...

Just loosen up and go with the flow... There is alot of good information that can be garnered from this site, if you make it through initial Troll detectors...

No flames intended...

Maybe the "good ole boys", could show a bit more patience? Class? I guess saying something positive about Filipinas is bad but calling Filipinas midgets, with bodys of 10 year olds is OK? If you are a "good ole boy"?

Face it, if someone came on here and made a similar derrogatory comment about Colombianas, the "good ole boys" would have a fit. It is OK to bash, Mexicans, Preuvianas, Filipinas, AW etc etc etc, just don't even post slightly negative stuff about Colombia.

If you are clever and can disguise your comments in humor it seems that you are aok. I make my observation about sterotypical comments, but I'm afraid you are right. The bottom line is that most of these jokers couldn't or wouldn't be able to get a date in their own town or country. Look up the term 'ugly american' and you may see some of these cats mentioned by name.
