I was watching the boob tube this morning and noticed one particular commercial talking about a different approach to American dating/introduction services.  What caught my attention was that their members fill out a rather lengthy compatibility questionnaire for a more suitable and successful match.  It got me thinking what if a LA agency required both the women and the men to take something similar.  Would this be a useful tool for a better match and marriage?  The recent posts on the board got me thinking about this.  I'd think all of us want a happy marriage for the long haul.

Has anyone on the board had any experience with this company?  If you wouldn't mind looking at their web site then posting some thoughts and comments, I'd appreciate it.  I'm not looking to join this company, although I might take their free, normally $40 questionnaire.  I was curious if something like this would help a guy in his search for a Latina.  Has anyone ever taken a compatibility test with their novia?

Although the TV spot had the founder, a Dr. Warren, looking a little on the nerdy side he did have some good things to say at their site.  Here is one about having a list of "must-haves and can't stand" when choosing a mate:

Here's a write up on the company:

Interesting as just fininshed reading one of Dr Warren's books "Date or Soul mate", insightful read for $13, learned several points such as importance of similar interests and similar religion. He says most marry bsed on appearance and chemistry but after 6 to 8 months the chemistry wears off and at that point need the similarites to be successful. Have another one of his books and two cassettes on order. Generally I've found the PHd's put out the better material.

I tried a free trial. I filled out the preference page and they e-mailed me and said they recommend no more than a 5 year age difference. I am in my late 40's. The women who wrote me were in their 40's and 50's. I wrote to women in their late 30's but none of them wrote back.
