Thanks to MichaelB for pointing out the bug.  Searches were previously returning results from other forums besides the one being searched.  It was only a problem for the Latin and East European forums and was a bug in the archiving script rather than the search engine itself.  Searches now return only results from the forum selected.

When testing the archiving script, half the active forum's posts were lost.  Sorry about that.
