Delta To Codeshare With Avianca Airlines
Delta (www.delta.com) and Avianca (www.avianca.com), a member of Alianza Summa, are engaging the second phase of their codeshare alliance, allowing Delta to sell seats on Avianca flights between Bogota and Baranquilla, Cali, Cartagena, Medellin and Pereira, Colombia.
Delta passengers in the United States now have three origination cities, Atlanta, Miami and New York, to choose from when traveling nonstop to Colombia.
Passengers can now fly on both airlines with the purchase of one ticket while enjoying shorter connection times, one-stop check-in, lounge reciprocity and seamless baggage handling.
Alianza Summa Privilegios members can earn Delta SkyMiles on flights beginning this winter.
