Hung over!!!! 1/2 day with Dario and Esmeralda. The morning was spent measuring and photographing the two floor house near the Santa Clara. The menue next is apartments in Bocagrande, Castillagrande and laguito. It appears that there are a lot of condos for sale but mostly on the lower floors. they are a bargain if you only wanted a place to live. The average price is $30,000 to $40,000 dollars some are nice but all are on floor one or two. It is my fault because I specified the price range between 30 and 50,000. We do see one not directly on the beach, 12th floor in a 17 floor building. Three bedrooms and two baths. There is a small pool on the roof as well as a party room. The view is great but a lot of buildings are in the way. 160,000,000 $56,000 nice condo, but not spectacular.
I skipped lunch because two AWs with short hair in indian skirts and wearing red converse high top tennis shoes were following me.I thought they were with the PC police. By the way this week is Dyke week here and next week is bike week. A lot of stern looking ladies with comfortable shoes and sleeveless t-shirts got off the cruiseros and next week the choppers. Well back to Colombia and my hotel. I haven't found anything new so Dario goes home. I walk down the street to a Piasa restaurant, Chicken filet- beans and rice with an egg- avocate and fresh lemonade just as good as Frijolies Verde in Cali. I then walk accross the street to an arab deli and have a Turkish coffee and a baklava. Diet on vacation ? nawwww.
I return to my room happy and reading the latest tom clancy when the phone rings. It is Travis from Vegas. He has four chicas who want to go dancing with me. Having been there before, ( some of you must know Ramone from Cali) I know better, but its better than a stick in the eye. So daddy warbucks agrees and heads out to the Capilla Del Mare. It turns out as expected, only a little worse, because we end up in a trance club. Sometime around two thirty I was wishing for the stick in the eye. Cost me 100,000 plus the cabbie ripped me for double. but it was a reinforced learning experience on Sardinas and their habits. Ah tommorrow is a day of rest. jim c
