Well, her is my trip report. It has a good part and a bad part, so first the good part.

Went to Lima, Peru for a whole four days, sort of a scouting mission. I had four days to kill and a free airline ticket, and since I have been to Colombia many times already, I wanted to see something new, and to compare Peru to Colombia. Now I did not go to other cities in Peru other than Lima, even though a very beautiful blond girl in Pucallpa invited me to her city for the weekend, I didn’t have the  time, but I think I got a pretty good idea of the country and of the people.

Lima is very similar to Bogotá, but safer, and a lot safer than Cali. I walked around everywhere and never felt out of place or felt like I was somewhere where I shouldn’t be, but im sure their are parts where i should not go. I was surprised also with all the Hostels there. I saw a lot of foreigners from Europe, Canada and the USA walking on the streets, and I thought I was the only stupid gringo there.
It was the end of their winter and all the girls were wearing a lot of clothes, but I didn’t think it was all that cold. I was surprised on how many casinos that were there. Some look similar to a casino that you would see in Las Vegas, but smaller.

I went with Matchingsys.com and I cannot say enough about the owners, Raul and Grasilda, both were great and very honest. They put me up in a four star hotel (Maria Angola) for $45 a night that was in walking distance of their agency, but I did manage to get lost once walking there and felt very stupid when I found out, that I was only two blocks from the agency.
I had a long talk with grasilda about the girls, dating, what they expect, why they are in the agency ect. She meets every girl that’s in the agency and she was very helpful with the meetings. I was surprised with the fact that a lot of the girls knew some English, and three part time models that I met were fluent in English. Even a few that I met that were very limited in English (me with limited Spanish) had a very fun time trying to explain too each other stories about family and friends. At times, it was a fun game to play.

Now about the looks. I think that Colombia might have the drop dead gorgeous numbers, but Lima had a lot of hot looking women, and if you’re a butt man, I would say that they have better butts, not too small, not too big, but just right. They definitely have a different look than Colombianas, jet-black hair, high cheekbones and some really tall women walking around also. I did meet a few girls that could pass for American women, brown hair, gray and green eyes, with very white skin. All and all, I guess it comes down to what your attracted too.

Personality, every girl that I met was extremly friendly, even the part time models, which was surprising. I would say that the general personality was between Bogotá and Cali. A little reserved like Bogotá, but more friendly and fun, similar to Cali, but not so much into partying and going dancing every night like the Cali women.  At no time did any girl ask for money, or for me to buy them something. Grasilda said that she tries to weed out the girls who are looking for an easy way to get out of Lima, (visa scammers) and gold diggers, and I can say that I did not meet any, so she must be doing her job.

Now for the bad part. While I was talking to grasilda. She got a long e-mail from her friend in Texas. Apparently, this friend of hers met a man from Texas. They dated for quite a while and eventually he proposed to her and asked her mother for her daughter’s hand in marriage. She said yes and has been in Texas for three months now on a tourist visa. I’m not to clear on the visa part, why she came up on a tourist visa instead of a fiancée or spousal, but she is living with the man. Apparently, she got pregnant a month ago, and now the man wont marry her. She is 28 and he is 46 or 56, I can’t remember his exact age, but the slime ball offered to support her and their new baby when she returns to Lima, (oh sure, that will happen.) I know it takes two to tango, but now this poor girl is really screwed because the man is giving her the boot. I really don’t know what kind of options she has, but im sure she is going through a lot, and being a Latin, I don’t see the girl having an abortion. I told Grasilda to tell her friend to contact an immigration lawyer, but im not sure if it will help and what she can do. Ill e mail her and see what her girlfriend is going to do.

This may sound kind of stupid, but my father told me something a long time ago, and I kind of stick to it.” Don’t have sex with a woman that you don’t think you would marry, keeps you out of trouble”

Well, that my trip report, just my opinion on a lot of things, but I can say that I liked the people and the country a lot.

Hey mudd,
The best and easiest thing for this younglady to do is to go to the District Attorney-Child Support division in the county where Mr. Wonderful resides and allow them to open a case on her behalf. Once they are involved they are in fact her attorneys as for as this matter goes when it comes to getting money for this unborn child, at this point Mr. Wonderful should just grab his ankles and bend over. The county will provide her with prenatal care at no cost to her and the D.A. will go after Mr. Wonderful for reimbursement, once the baby is born they will drag his Arse into family court to establish paternity at his expense and if he is a match, he will be ordered to pay support for this child. The great thing for the woman at this point is the support will be collected via garnishment and at a percentage of what his/her wages are, this will be verified by his employer. And if she has no income, I suggest that he grab his ankles even tighter. She will only need to go to the D.A. and they will handle this from start to judgement, the D.A.'s office is usally staffed with women that seem to enjoy making ones life a living hell when it comes to child support, especially a DEAD BEAT like this yo yo.

If you have any questions about this process, zip me an e-mail and I will get back to you. You might as well get it from a guy that has been in the cross hairs of a blood sucking child support D.A., under different circumstances mind you.

Hello,

As others have mentioned, if the child is born in the US, it is automatically a US Citizen, no matter what the citizenship status of the parents.

If the child is born overseas, but a parent is a US citizen then the child can become a US with the proper paperwork.  However, the parent(s) that are US citizens, have to be willing to sign the paperwork. Otherwise, it will be a very expensive legal battle, which seems an unlikely option for this lady.  Then again, maybe the Feminazi mentioned in another post would fight the battle for her.

I'm no attorney, but it sounds like this gal (which I'm sure has limited means $$$) has one of two options.  First, stay in the country illegally until the child is born.  Second, go back to Peru and have the child and hope that the father will do the right thing by her and his child.  I personally have more faith in the former, rather than the latter.

Take care,

Mark

... in response to Citizenship, posted by markxport on Sep 3, 2003

Mark,
Once parternity has been established, it does not matter if the father signs any forms as for as citizenship for the child is concerned, this child will have rights. If born outside of the US the mother can simply go to the US embassy to get the ball rolling on the citizenship matter. That is why it is best for her to go to the D.A. while she is still in this country to open a case and claim this guy as the father.(I know in CA if you are named as the father of a child, the D.A. will come after you to prove paternaity, you will have two years to challenge this, after that you are the father if you like it or not) At birth(even if she is in Peru) she will list him as the father on the birth certificate, now she has a double edge sword. There is a D.A. file with a case number in the US and he is listed as the father, with a copy of this compliant from the D.A.s office and a certified copy of the birth certificate she can get citizenship and a US passport for this child, the US embassy can not challenge the D.A.s case, citizenship is a slam dunk!! What is not realized here is that the US has entered into treaties with many countries and this issue of kids that have a parent that is a US citizen is covered in those treaties. Treaties trump local, state and federal law.

What is the advantage to the lady staying here illegally?  She can sue the father for child support regardless as to her location.

Yes, but much more difficult!  It would be virtually impossible to attend depositions and hearings once she leaves the United States.

Mark,
That is why she would go through the D.A., it will become the D.A.s case once she does, they will appear on her behalf at all hearings. Any guy that has gone thru family court with a child support matter will tell you that it is heavy tilted in favor of the custodial parent, which is usally the mother. When you are the custodial parent and your are the father, they don't tend to take it as seriously. The Fiminazis got their way with the family courts in this country a long time ago, it is not a place that a man wants to find himself even with a good attorney, unless the attorney plays golf with the judge at the country club Shocked)

Is Mr. Slimeball in or near Dallas? Drop me an email and I can put the lady in touch with the meanest feminazi to ever pass the state bar.....this baracuda would sue her own father for child support and probably would like nothing better than to bite off a piece of Mr. Slime's hide (or cut off something else), she's the one my X hired against me, ha ha. I'm not sure (all our business was conducted in English) but I think she can speak Spanish too, if she can't, she'll surely come up with somebody who can.

As to the child's citizenship, I'll defer to Mr. Bala's legal training, but I THINK the child will be a US citizen if paternaty can be proved.

BTW, your daddy gives good advice.

Regarding the child's citizenship, if it's born in the US, it will be a US citizen, no matter who the father is. Paternity does not have to be proved.

If the child is born on foreign soil but the father or mother is American, the child is also a US Citizen. My buddy's wife gave birth to their daughter in the DR and she had a US passport at 3 months of age.

Yes, but your buddy was cooperating.  In the situation mentioned above, the guy might not be willing to cooperate after see leaves the US.

I don't believe that matters. I think that a child that has at least one parent that is a US citizen is automatically a US citizen at birth, no matter where they are born.
