I think Aaron is Aaron.  I think if he has any other personas here it is as one of the recently registered posters.  Cali vet is pretty respectful of others, whereas Aaron was a complete ass.  I don't believe someone who respects others would mascarade as someone who doesn't.

Calivet is one of our long time posters who lives in Cali,is visiting Peru right now.
I don't think Calipro is Aaron, not even close.Calipro has given us lots of specifics, including lots of pictures.
PLUS - - Calipro has been exceptional in that has recieved alot of negative imput and I don't remembering him going negative himself as a response. That the main thing here,we will disagree, but if we remain civil it doesn't have to become a flame war.

I too thought at first that maybe he is Aaron, but so far he's made quite a few posts without reminding us of his 'superior' education and (in his dreams) intelligence....if he is Aaron, the fact that he can't do that without blowing his cover has to be really eating out his guts, ja ja.

I am lost here.  What "calivet" are we talking about?  The only "Cali vet" I know on this board has been around for years and I don't recall him ever being arrogant or Aaronlike.  Is this the guy you both had suspicions of being Aaron?

Too many 'Cali this' or 'Cali that' guys here, we all get confused, and I should have specified. 'CaliAdvisor' is the one I had in mind. He's new (only since July 2003) and his profile is all blanks. He has expressed some ideas similar to Aaron's, but I don't think they are the same person. Advisor is more articulate and shows much better self control.

I personally believe Aaron is smart enough to clean up his act enough to appear more articulate.  Especially when he realizes if he adopts the exact same persona as before he will be booted again  for sure.  Frankly his problem is arrogance and lack of empathy, not stupidity.  One thing I find very telling about CaliAdvisor that I didn't mention before is his spelling mistakes.  Stupid little spelling errors very consistent with those made by Aaron.  I think Aaron is smart enough to appear more articulate but too arrogant to use a spell checker, so he is doomed to continue with his little spelling errors no matter what else he changes.  I am just as guilty of poor spelling but run all my longer posts through Word because I recognize I make mistakes.  Aaron seems to think he is too educated to have to use one.  At least that is my take on it.

I think the number of coincidences between CaliAdvisor and Aaron are too high for it to truly be coincidental.  Here we have two late 20ish men from New York, highly educated, with similar phrasing, spelling errors, same kind of relationships with women i.e. many friends but no girlfriend, many friends in Cali, supposed visits to many places in the world such as Amsterdam, and of course both of them just happen to be going to Cali.  And on top of it all, Aaron and CaliAdvisor never overlapped.  Aaron disappeared and CaliAdvisor appeared.  Experience has taught me that coincidences of that degree only happen in the movies, not real life.

One last point I wanted to make.  Aaron was a hit and run poster.  He would clutter up the board with posts, piss everyone off and then disappear for a week or two until everybody cooled down a bit and then come back and frantically post again.  My final bit of evidence to present that Aaron and CaliAdvisor are the same person is to mention that CaliAdvisor abruptly stopped posting 3 days ago.  My prediction is he will stay away a few more days and then come back in a fury … just like Aaron.

As you have about this mysterious "CaliAdvisor" fella, I connected the very same dots as you.
I was absolutely convinced after the CaliAdvisor/jim c exchange about drug money and Colombia, if you read the response from CaliAdvisor, it was classic for Aaron.
I did not want to mention this and get a brawl started, not being one for stirring in the stink, I just put a lid on it. Besides, the peaceful atmosphere was starting to feel nice around here. Didn't have to open the page and wonder what caused "all hell" to break loose this time.

Brilliant deduction Iswote!!!

How about this Conclusion: CaliAdvisor, Confused, and Clay (posting on the LWL) are one in the same. Can you "C" it?

Soy Correcto Aaron? ;-)

I thought you meant "Cali vet".  I don't know of a poster named "calivet", but "Cali vet" has been registered since July 2001.

You have told us your story and given us lots of imformation(and lots of pictures).Your approach has been this is how it is for me.I don't remember you ever being preachy, condesending or even negatively reacting to someone.I don't remember anyone getting so much negative feedback and remaining so civil about it.
The complete opposite of Aaron behavior I think.
