some time there this winter and would like to fix up my face .....

I have a dentist in Cali that is very good. He was referred to me by Adriana of Latinlove.net. He is in the south accross from the Embanaco Medical complex. A full mouth exray was done at the hospital for fifteen dollars. A root canal with a three tooth bridge and another epoxy filling were done for a total of seven hundred dollars. Here it would have cost $3500.00 minimum. So, I guess 20% is about right.I just had a bridge reglued and a temp filling here it was five hundred. The telephone there is 681 1924 they don't speak english so bring someone who does. jim c

Dental work costs about 10% or less what it does here and is supposeed to be good quality.My wife has a dentist in Cali she sees when she is there.I make sure her and my step son get their dental work done there.If you are going to be seing a dentist in Cali I can get you the persons name.
A friend had dental work done in Cali that he was told would cost $4000 here.I think it cost him $300.He said the work was very goodl.A crown is about $75 I think,10% of here.
Things like cosmetic surgury are also alot cheaper,but I would use a little more caution there.A doctor I met at my wifes hairdresser said $1000 for liposution.I think I may get some estimates  here and advice on what could be done first.Of course you would have to stay there through recovery.Its a time vs cost thing.I might miss enough income here to just pay the higher cost,and would be less concerned about complications here.
A friend went to Colombia for laser eye surgury about 5 years ago.At that time they were doing new proceedures not yet available in the US.He said his doctor was one of the leading doctors in this field in world.He did not go to save money,he thought they had better proceedures.Something about a machine that tracks the eyeball if it moves to make the proceedure more accurate.

Medical services in Colombia are very good. Cosmetic dentistry is very big down here. You just need to make sure you get a doctor who studied in one of the good medical school and who posibly did a specialization in USA.

The good medical schools are usually the public ones like Universidad del Valle in Cali.
