Has any one travled to the city of Villavicenio south of Bogota? Not much info on the place. I have some business and will be traveling there in the near future. any information about the place would be great.

My wife was born and raised in Villavicencio, but moved to Bogota many years ago... She will not let me travel to Villavicencio by car as it is not safe... It's safe to fly there via Aires Air out of Bogota... It's a very hot and pretty city with nice people...
