This is getting interesting - Aces is definitely officially dead.
The Colombian civil aviation board will determine the fate of the Aces' routes:

Fort Lauderdale-Bogotá, Lima-Bogotá, Medellín-Cartagena-Bogotá, Medellín-Bogotá y Cali-Bogotá

Looks like Avianca & SAM will be called Avianca, the Summa name gone.

This whole mess looks to work in my favor (from a Cali standpoint), as AeroRepublica will be in the hunt for picking up some of Aces' routes.  It's also rumored that Lan Chile may be in the mix somehow.

Wow this was a close call for me then, since my wife flew into Fort Lauderdale from Bogota on Aces just this past Sunday.
