How good was that hotel you stayed at for $22 a night, was it quiet or noisy near the street. Riande was nice but too much street noise so I moved rooms first night there to quieter room. I am from san diego, going back to panama next month to visit my girlfriend. If you want to email me, I posted my email address with my bio; stevebliss@azw.com. No surprise you did better saturday night, better group of girls that night for sure, except for this like psycho chick that propositioned both my buddie Ray and then me within like an hour, she didnt want a relationship, just wanted it shall we say "right now"....first time I ever turned down an easy score in my life.

... in response to Hey Keith Smith---Panama hotels, posted by locoabogado on Aug 16, 2003

Hi. When I arrived In Panama City on Thursday, July 31, I had no idea where I was going to stay. An acquaintance (a taxi driver named Genaro) had picked me up at the airport. NOTE: A friend of mine in New Jersey had given Genaro's contact info. prior to me visiting Panama City. Anyway, he took me to the Hotel Montreal. When I arrived there, I had asked the receptionist the rate (per night). She said; $22.00 (single), $27.50 (double), and $33.00 (triple). I wanted to make my money last, so I decided to stay there. The hotel isn't spectacular, but I liked it very much. It was very clean, and the staff was great. The day manager speaks excellent English. The street is front of the hotel. However, I had no trouble sleeping. Personally, I recommend the Hotel Montreal for those on a budget (like me). I will send you an e-mail as soon as possible. Later.
