I have encountered men from all walks of life while being involved in this pursuit... Some were working stiffs, some professionals, some retired and possibly some who were independent wealthy... Most were straight-up guys, but there were a few that came across like they had a slice of bologna in each shoe...

Many here have shared what they do from time to time... After reading the forum for a while you figure out who is who...

Just out of curiousity, what professions, either past or present, are represented in this group???

Most of you know that I work in the IT Industry...

Not writing a book, just curious...

Yacht charter business owner currently living in Costa Rica.
Sold the business 2 weeks ago and returning to live in the San Francisco Bay area in 3 weeks to start a different kind of business.  Grew up in the bay area and plan on racing sailboats on the bay as a hobby again.

You're back. I thought you were headed to the Carribean. Any ideas on what kind of business you're planning?

Senge,

You don't know how many of my students have freaked out at the alegbra involved in economics.  It is bad enough when they see the equation of straight line demand and supply curves.  But when they have to find the intersection of two straight lines, BOY!, all hell breaks loose!
