Patrick - a question about Goodwife.com if I may.

Do you have any handle on the stats for your page listing the latin sites? For example, how many unique hits per month? Any feedback on conversion rates from the sites that have listed with you that may have done some tracking?

I am starting to look at reciprocal linking and Goodwife.com seems like a good option.

regards,

Steve Marchant

This site was getting around twice the traffic as Goodwife.com a while back, but I haven't checked stats at either place in a while.  I'm afraid I haven't been updating the agency listings here for the last 3-4 months and I don't know if/when I'll be doing more work around here other than just keeping the message boards running.

Thats a shame Patrick. I understand your time may be limited though. I myself have a 9 month old son and you certainly have to question whether any extra endeavor that takes alot of time is worth it in terms of time lost with your children. I understand you have an engineering position now that takes up your working time.

On goodwife.com I was looking to put your banner as my first one and therefore snaffle the top spot in your Latin listings.

As an aside, doing a search on the archives for 'Ecuador' I saw you said several times that you thought Guayaquil was a good place to attract Latin women as that was the most responsive place to your advertising. I also saw that some papers banned you from advertising.

Did you remember the names of the papers you advertised in and was a reason given for banning you?

My wife handles all the ads, so I'm not sure what paper it was.  They simply stopped all agency advertising.  I suspect it could be that somebody with some power in the advertising department just does not like the idea of agencies.  There's stigma attached to this both here in the U.S. and in the Latin countries.
